Free Vehicle Parking Commences in Dharahara Premises Starting Today

Kathmandu: The Kathmandu Municipal Corporation (KMC) has initiated free vehicle parking services in the Dharahara premises located in Sundhara, Kathmandu, starting today.
The complimentary parking service will be accessible on the first floor of the parking building adjacent to the Dharahara tower, as announced by the KMC. It's noteworthy that the KMC has designated the blacktopped roads in the New Road area as a parking-prohibited zone.
Senior Superintendent Rajunath Pandey, Head of KMC Police, mentioned that, in addition to the free parking service at Kathmandu Tower (formerly bus park), free parking will now be available at the Dharahara premises.
Approximately 50,000 square feet of space has been designated for free parking at the Dharahara premises, accessible via the road leading from Kathmandu Mall to Khichapokhari.
